Chatham Cup Funding Target Achieved

Otago University AFC is proud to announce that we have met our fundraising target for this weekend’s Chatham Cup Quarter-Final clash in Auckland against North Shore United.

Thanks to wonderful support from across the football community for our Give a Little Page donations reached $2850. Support came from all areas of the community, former players, families, anonymous donors, and in particular those from other clubs in Dunedin and around New Zealand (including those from our opposition this weekend).

Our commemorative shirts produced for this occasion in conjunction with new supporter Lateral Partners and our apparel partner The Soccer Shop have been popular with a percentage of each sale going towards the trip. These are still available online > OUAFC Quarter-Final shirt

Significant support for the trip from Lateral Partners which includes an ongoing contribution for 2022, as well as support from New Zealand Football, the University of Otago, and other private funders enabled us to reach our fundraising target with attention now turning to the match.

The team will depart Dunedin Airport late on Friday evening ready for our biggest match to date scheduled to kick off at 2 pm from Allen Hill Stadium.

A comprehensive preview along with squad details will be released on Friday evening.
